Hi, this is my first post, I hope I’m in the right discussion. I recently bought a 2000 Focus SE with a 2.0L Zetec engine and Automatic Trans. and my problem is that everytime I let go off the gas pedal while driving the rpms go up about 2 or 300 before going back to normal. No matter what speed or gear I’m driving in it keeps doing it. I notice it more when I let go off the gas pedal at lower speeds. The thing is that when the car is not moving I rev up the engine in neutral or parking and the revs behave normal without problems. I checked the codes with a scanner and there are none. Any advise?
