1) Get into an accident (3/4 ton truck backed straight into my car while I was parked)
2) Get an estimate from a "reliable" body shop in the area. Tell them EVERYTHING (Front bumper, hood, grill, AND hood hinge on driver’s side) that is not right with the front end due to the accident.
3) Take car in to get fixed.
4) 3 days later my car is "done". Go to pick it up and notice that the hood is still not fixed after I made it clear that the hood was out of alignment.
5) Technician/Representitave of said body shop takes it back to get it "fixed" right away. Bring car back out and it’s still not done right. Tell them I will be back the next day.
6) Have another member of FF check the hood out just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things/being crazy. Hood hinge is still bent on driver’s side and hood not flush with fender.[:(!]
7) Take car back AGAIN….they get the hood flush with the fender on both sides….pop the hood while still in the parking lot with representative and the driver’s side hinge is STILL F[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]ING BENT!!!!!!!!!!!!@>@.
The representative then goes to ask me if the car has had any other body work done to it. I bought the car with 20 miles on the odometer. No body work done to it until then. I pointed it out to them several times and the damn hood is still not fixed like I asked 4 times. What also pisses me off is that the interior lights will pop on while I’m driving with no driver/passenger interaction and stay on for long periods of time. This did not happen before the car was taken in for service, nor did this happen any time after the accident. I’ve taken the car to the FORD DEALER and had them check the hood hinge on the driver’s side and it was verified that it was bent. Also, the unknown cause of the interior lights coming on at random. I’ve pulled the fuse for those damn things until I can figure out what is wrong.
Sorry for the long post. I just had to say this in my own thread. Also, I have pics of the accident but they are print outs from the security dept at the local college that the accident happened at. If anyone wants to add their experiences or advice/opinion please do so.

Ok, so the transmission had been rebuilt a few years ago and the Neutral Safety Switch had been replaced. Well about 3 days ago I noticed it would slow down as if I tapped on the brake when I took my foot off the gas at a stop light. It got worse that night when it seemed like it was stuck in 1st and had a very hard time getting into second, so I had to manually do it by putting the automatic shifter down to 1st working my way up to drive. My overdrive light started to flash too.
The next day it got so bad that it left me stranded and now my car will not move forward at all as if its stuck in neutral with high rpm sitting at 1500 and higher. It reverses just fine, never had any other problems with the transmission, no other gears skipped or anything.
I have checked the fluid and it is good, there is no check engine light on at all, O/D light does not flash anymore, Autozone does not have a scanner to check for transmission codes because I have already tried when it was somewhat drivable.
My question is, what could it be, I had read a lot online and everyone kept saying it was the transmission speed sensor, and others would say its the Neutral safety switch? Also could it just be my shifter is not working, another thing I read about was the leveler and Linkage going bad? I do have a vaccum hose leak somewhere I have not yet to find. I was wondering if maybe that got worse as well and caused all of this? This is my only vehicle and I have to get back and forth to work with it, please help!

Well me and someone that i know also in a focus decided we were goin to open them up on the newly opened up 4 lane road [idea] (which is a 55 not a 45)… My radar goes off but at that speed i was home before i even knew there was a deputy…

137 in a 45… [smackbum] Mandatory court date and 1000 dollar fine first offense… the only things i have going for me is One… 55mph road and two Your honor Its a Ford Focus!!!
