I need to replace the thermostat on my wife’s 2003 Crown Vic and am looking for steps (possible pics).

I have a question about your experiance when driving at night.

I’m beginner, not experianced driver and I drove only a few times at night.
Now, I always drive with (how do you say it?) long lights except when theres oncoming traffic or in bend.
Now with short lights I just don’t see enough and I don’t feel secure.
but with long lights I see better but I still have the same feeling.
I’m somehow tense and just focus on "will some animal jump in front of me".
my vision is fine at day, it’s great, I drive normally but at night I somehow don’t see animal at right time. Few hours ago some rabbit jump in front of me, I saw him and I slow down and I didn’t hit him. Now that happend in a village. I was driving 45 km/h, Everything went well!

But on open road when you normally drive 90 km/h (around 55 mph) you just can’t see that rabbit on time and you will hit him or is it just me? What is your expericane, all the way home I was driving under 60 km/h, I just always think on something that will jump on the road and how i won’t see it on time![???:)]

I wear Contact Lenses (-5.50 both eyes) and they are fine, I see everything at day, I see Ok at night too but I just somehow want to see whole road but since yous vision is limited at night i just can’t. For example in moment when animal jump in front of car i look at left part of road (is there some animal at that bush) and if you drive slow you can see it but if you drive fast you just can’t but all others drive just like it’s daylight![scratch]
Do you have some tip or anything

I just got back from running errands and decided to pop the hood to check fluids, air filter, etc. I noticed right away that the dust on the top of the engine looked like it had water spots all over it. First thought was a radiator hose is leaking. Looked on the underside of the hood and there is black water spots on the passanger side of the hood. Upon further inspection I noticed what appears to be a hydrolic house was wet. The hose runs along the firewall on the passenger side. There are two of them there…its the larger one that was wet. It looks like it runs behind the passenger side shock. Is this an AC hose or a coolant hose? I have the 2.0 duratec engine in a 07 4 dr sedan.

I just joined as of last night. I have a 2007 ZX3 with a couple mods. Focus sport cool-flo cold air intake. 2.25 from cat back with magnaflo muffler.

Im just looking for tips or hints to get some more power. Dont got a lot of money but anything helps. My fastest time out at the track was a 15.93. Im not so consistent with that but i will be running low 16’s all day no matter what. I would like to run 15’s all day. Just got some new tires so it might help out. Any ideas to get a lil bit more power?

I just bought a 2004 Navigator last weekend. This morning, my driver side headlight goes out. I search the internet and came across this forum and found some good info. Downloaded the Owners manual from a link provided by a member here and take a look at it and it says I need to take my Navi into the dealer to have headlight replaced.

So I call the local ford dealership and he sounds clueless and tells me I just need to bring it in. I ask how much it is he gives me an installation estimation and says hes not sure about the headlight and I tell him its the HID’s and he’s like oh, its gonna be much higher then. Then his tech in the background says something and the guy tells me his tech is standing there and says they need to diagnose it first. I asked how much that was and he said like $47.

Let me get this I have to pay you $47 to diagnose that my headlight is not working. Then pay you god knows how much for whatever, and then pay you an even more money to install it.

There’s got to be a better way than this ….

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated..

ok so my friend had these rims in his garage for a year and never used them lol there brand new with brand new tires lol and he told me 250 so i bought them and i wanted to kno what u guys thought, and the weird thing about these rims is that there a 4 bolt 5 bolt rim lol but here are some pics

Do any of you think that a wing like bomz racing aluminum double deck spoiler type x would look good on a ZX5?

I am looking at picking up some Mickey Thompson ET streets for the Mark VIII and was wondering if anyone has had experiences with these tires? I have seen so many hot rods this year at the shows with them so I have to assume they are a good tire. I am looking for a good set of tires for the rear that can be driven daily and are GUARANTEED to hook at the track. Currently, the car loses it big time into second gear on my street radials.
