Is the A/C compressor going out, or is there a cheaper/ easier solution?
Thanks,
Craig
While it is out, I am checking to see how this latches, and I don’t get it. Mine doesn’t clasp on to anything. So, do I need to cut out a little slot where the lever hits the surround? Any tips on that, such as small as possible, any size, whatever?
Thanks! Stephan
At highway speeds on interstate (~50-80mph), when turning left or right there is a subtle vibration. Almost like a wheel is not balanced. When I straighten out the ‘vibration’ goes away. It is not apparent when running stock wheels and tires. The Rota’s (which I will refer to them) are torqued properly. The hub rings are not cracked (also there the right size). Can a tire get out of balance when a ‘gentle’ side load is applied?
Thanks!
Recently the Auxilliary Power Point jack (located in the front near the Passenger’s left foot) stopped working.
I checked the Cigar Lighter fuse #17 in the passenger compartment with my Multi-Tester, it was OK.
I checked the Auxilliary Power fuse #2 under he hood, it was OK; I eventually checked every fuse under the hood; they were all OK.
I pulled off the center console and checked the connector to the power point.
The black wire was grounded, the brown wire – NO POWER.
Has anybody serviced this before or have a clue where this brown wire connects to the fuse box?
- Steve

John Crockett of Aneheim, CA is lucky to be alive today as his Ford Mustang was hit by five vehicles while he was on his way to work Wednesday. Crockett was entering the highway from an on ramp and was clipped by another driver sending him into traffic where he was hit by several other vehicles from different directions. Crockett credits his 4-point roll cage and padding around his head for saving his life. He recently spent $15K on a custom engine he had not even broken in yet.
