I have used goodyear gatorback belts for years. I got a set and they dont seam to fit. It is part number 6pk2120
I have an 02 ZX5 Zetech. I matched up the old belt with the new. the gatorback looks a little shorter the store says its the correct one. I cant get it on…the old one just slips on. Its not an old belt….just like the gatorbacks and have a squeal i cant get rid of.

okay so those valve seats went out or something sounds like a blender when i turn it on. okay so its my 2nd engine and i wanna get another but no split port something better. Which engine is compatible to switch out and what all do i need to make this happen? and price estimate? and should i convert to automatic or can i stay standard? sorry for all the questions not car savvy but any advice would help. thanks
ok i have this problem. long story short i buy a new motor because my old one sucked in water throug the cold air intake. so anyways we do the swap and everything goes fine until 3 days later when the battery light goes on and then my car starts to accelerate its self. next day i turn my car it automatically goes up to 5,000 rpm and stays there for a couple of minutes until the rpm starts to drop. if i tap the gas a little it will then go back up and stay at 5,000 rpm. any advice would help.oh and i bought a new battery and altenator.
I am having some problems with what seems to be an electrical issue. I have no A/C, Rear Defrost, Dome Lights, Power Mirrors, Key in Ignition Warning which I think are most of the issues… I have checked all of the fuses (manually pulled each one out and checked them) under the dash and also under the hood. I dont know where to search next, relays? Anyone else ever had similar issues? [???:)]

Hey Guys, just looking for some knowledge and help.
My car is pinging/cutting out/dogging in all gears now. It happens at lower RPM’s between 1500 and about 3500.
it started out in just 3rd, so I figured it was a dirty MAF. I cleaned MAF; didn’t do the trick. switched out to a newer clean MAF; didn’t help.
I am starting to think that it is a problem with the ignition system. Wires are almost brand new, have not had the chance to check the plugs yet but will get back on that, and have not checked the coil. I have heard that it also may be another sensor.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
I have been having some trouble recently with my ignition, the key won’t turn when I put it in there so I have to tap on it, and sometimes even hit it kind of hard to get it to to free up and turn for me. It’s not the way the steering wheel is turned, it’s the actual ignition itself.. Last night while I was working my delivery job (bad timing at it’s best) my key locked up and I cannot get it to budge to save my life. I’m guessing I need a new ignition lock cylinder, I was about to order one on rockauto.com, there are 3 options for my car, should I stick with the motorcraft one or go with a cheaper one? Also, is this a job for a do-it-yourselfer, or is this a more difficult task that I shouldn’t mess around with?
